Convenient to the airport, just a short taxi ride. I believe there is a bus nearby, but I had luggage and preferred the convenience of a taxi. Efficient, clean, met my needs. I liked the water and coffee availability. I chose not to purchase breakfast, but there was still continental-style food in the morning. The desk is manned and will call for a taxi if you ask. Staff speaks excellent English. The hotel has air-conditioning, not many near the airport do.

We stayed in this airport hotel the day we arrived in Munich (after a long day of flying) and the night before we flew out. It was air conditioned and modern. We stayed in the standard double (with breakfast) the first night and the executive double (without breakfast) on our second night. Both rooms were excellent. The executive double was incredibly spacious and comfortable. In the executive room, there was free coffee in the room 3 ways: Nespresso machine, filter drip coffee bags and soluble instant coffee. Lots of tea as well (kettle provided). Free minibar items, including lots of water and a few beers and juices. Bed was comfortable. Room was quiet and modern. No dedicated airport shuttle, but were was an airport bus that stopped just a few feet from the hotel entrance. It cost 1.90 euros pp. It ran every 20 minutes or so. Paid the bus driver. Very easy and convenient. Breakfast buffet was incredible. I commented on the restaurant below. I would come here again.

I stay here once a year, and the reception staff are always different. Last year the young guy behind the counter was stressed out and the parking ticket system was broken for a couple of days. This year they had things under better control. The breakfast here is very good, and the hamburger in the restaurant is one of the best if you like that sort of thing.

In terns of facilities, all you need for a one night stay before/after your flight. Very good breakfast.

The hotel is a few kilometers away from the Munich airport. However it is definitely an alternative of you are in need of a place to stay, for instance between flights. Just remember that the bus (line 635) shuttles every 20 minutes between the Freising area where the hotel is and the airport. Takes 10-15 minutes. Get MVV-app, register and pay 2Euro instead of getting a taxi. We actually walked to the hotel from the airport (!) which I wouldn't recommend to anyone :). You really need to make sure you walk on (exactly) the right path given by Google. Else you will be trapped between traffic routes and high fences separating different airport areas. The area is not made for pedestrians... Lovely hotel personnel in the reception and restaurant. Nice and clean room with plenty of space. We also had a nice meal in the restaurant on ground floor.

I was so surprised for the price paid and the excellence of the Hotel. Most hotels when you're travelling and are staying in the area of an airport, they are not as good as the advertising. But the Novotel, was so surprising, the staff were very welcoming, the food was excellent, the room was clean and very comfortable, after a flight. The breakfast was a wow factor, everything you could want and again the staff were very welcoming, and assisted when you had a question. Checkout was really very good. Overall experience was more than I expected from a hotel so close to the Airport.

Good hotel close by to the airport with an elaborate breakfast buffet. They also provide packed food boxes if your stay includes breakfast and you are leaving before breakfast time 6am. Make sure to let the receptionist know the previous night. Provides free wifi, complimentary coffee/snacks and water in the room.

I don’t know the name of the man who checked us in but I’d like to personally thank him. The hotel got a surge of guests from a cancelled flight at the airport. I had booked a room with a queen size bed but received a room with two twin beds. When I let him know I was on my honeymoon with my wife he immediately fixed the problem and got us a new room amidst all the chaos of other guests trying to get rooms. I was able to have a nice conversation with him too. Thank you sir and I wish you and your family the best of luck. Congratulations on soon becoming a father!

This is a true German hotel- atmosphere was wonderful and staff were extremely nice and helpful. Breakfast was a large spread- many choices available. Mittenwald is a beautiful town- we found several wonderful places to eat, a sports park where the kids could play soccer and have fun, and some beautiful walks- the cliff walk is amazing! Just know that unlike many other areas of Europe, finding English staff at restaurants and shops is not as easy. Everyone was exceptionally nice and did their best to communicate. Google translate was very valuable, especially for ordering in restaurants.

We ate in one of the restaurants outside the airport which is a bit pricey but worth it cause it was the birthday lunch for our son. The Airport got variety of restaurants and stores around it. It was quite enormous. Novotel Hotel Munich Airport is pretty great hotel, very clean, facilities are amazing. When i requested the hotel to provide free cake for the birthday of my son, they didnt hesitate and even added some birthday decoration inside our room and we really highly appreciate that. The morning of my son's birthday, they provided a cute cake as well. THANK YOU SO MUCH. The team members from reception to the housekeeping to restaurants were very friendly. We loved the free healthy fruity water provided for free bottomless and likewise the coffee of different types were free at the lobby as well. AMAZING!!! Thank you so much. We will be back.
